BUTI, in the Indian dialect Marathi, means a cure that has been hidden or kept secret. BUTI yoga is a somatic movement practice that seamlessly fuses functional movement with cardio dance, multidimensional strength training and dynamic asana. This practice challenges the body across all planes of motion while engaging all of the senses in a beats driven journey. This movement style is intuitive, creative and includes unique movement patterns that helps get you out of your head and into your body.
In 2021, Katherine completed her BUTI yoga teacher training. The moment the first beat dropped from the playlist in her first BUTI class, Katherine was in love. She quickly knew that BUTI was something she felt deeply connected to. Allowing music to get you out of your head and tap fully into the body; shaking and spiraling and allowing yourself to let go truly resonates with Katherine. She loves the beats driven aspect of BUTI and letting the music be the guide to the movement.
Katherine loves to teach and continues to learn. She spreads that love and knowledge wherever she travels.
